We are looking for a Finance Manager for our site in Holeby. Unique opportunity to define a new team.

Job Mission

The Finance Manager will be an important part of a dynamic international company with approximately 30 subsidiaries, annual sales of €350 million, 900 employees and with financial organization in constant improvement.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for incorporating a newly insourced finance function as professional support for the local organization and to add value across the group through knowledge and projects.

The Finance Manager will be the trustworthy “owner of the figures” being responsible for securing transparency, to support decisions locally as well as supporting business controlling and the group leader team by insights.

The Finance Manager reports to group finance in Tienen, where participation in projects across the UBS group is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with group standards and local regulations
• Oversee the financial results for the companies within own responsibility.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to local management and business controlling / the group leader team

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the budgeting process for fixed cost for the Danish and Swedish entity and contribute to the consolidated group budget.
• Develop rolling forecasts to ensure adaptability to market dynamics and business requirements
• Monitor and analyze budget variances in cost and projects and suggest actionable insights to management.

1. Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and group policies
• Strengthen and oversee the internal control framework to safeguard the company’s assets
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful and efficient audits.

1. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

• Monitor and optimize cash flow and working capital
• Collaborate with the group treasury team to manage liquidity, foreign exchange risks, and financing.

1. Operational Financial Management:

• Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and adherence to company policies
• Support procurement and cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Being part of daily business with hands-on related to finance tasks.

1. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, develop, and mentor local finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure alignment with group standards while encouraging innovation and best practices within the team.

1. Business Partnering:

• Act as a financial business partner to the local management team in Denmark and Sweden with focus on fixed cost and projects, and provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with other finance leaders across the group to drive synergies and share best practices.

1. Project Management:

• Support and lead finance-related projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and cost optimization initiatives
• Contribute to the financial evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, combining aspects of financial control and management, ideally in an international environment
• Your background can be financial controller, finance manager or accounting manager.
• Proven experience with group consolidations, financial reporting, and operational finance
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced BI and Excel skills. Knowledge of Navision and Power BI is an advantage
• Experience in hands-on.
