Senior People Business Partner
At NIRAS, we are looking for a Senior People Business Partner for our Process Industry business area, covering pharma & life sciences, food, and future fuels. The role can be based in any of our locations, and you will be part of our People Growth team, which is anchored in Denmark.

About the role As a Senior People Business Partner, you will work closely with the Sector Leadership Team—a cross-country team spanning the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, and beyond, and consisting of the EVP and VPs. The area comprises 622 employees and 64 leaders.
You will play a key role in translating business strategy into clear people priorities, strengthening leadership capabilities, and supporting organizational development across markets. You will balance strategic advisory with hands-on execution and act as a trusted partner to leaders in a complex and specialized business.
Given the international scope of the role, you should expect a certain level of travel activity. You will also be part of our People Growth department, working closely across People Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, and Development. Together, we prioritize knowledge sharing and co-create concepts and initiatives across disciplines to continuously elevate quality.
Your key responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to the Process Industry leadership team Translate business strategy into concrete people priorities and actions Drive and ensure high quality in key HR processes (performance, talent, succession, and compensation) Advise on organizational effectiveness, collaboration, and employee relations Coach and support leaders across levels and countries Support organizational change and transformation initiatives Contribute to a strong and inclusive culture Who are you?
You are an experienced and business-oriented People Business Partner who thrives in a complex, international organization. You combine strategic perspective with operational impact and are motivated by creating stability, quality, and long-term development.We imagine that you: Have solid experience as a strategic HR/People Business Partner in a large organization Are a credible and trusted advisor to senior leaders Work in a structured, analytical, and professional manner Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills Thrive in an environment with high standards and ongoing change Are fluent in English, both written and spoken Experience from process industries such as pharma, life sciences, food, or other regulated environments is an advantage.
