This is a newly established, ambitious and dedicated team, meaning you will help shape ways of working, contribute to a modern creative culture, and collaborate closely with new colleagues across brand, performance, and retail marketing. You will play a key role in driving our brand forward and supporting the continued growth of BoConcept as a global design brand with more than 280 stores worldwide.

As a team we live our BoConcept Values: Develop yourself, Reach the goal, Initiate solutions, Value differences, Embrace collaboration (DRIVE) The Role As Art Director, you act as the visual guardian of BoConcept – protecting and evolving BoConcept’s visual identity by defining a premium, coherent brand expression across markets and touchpoints.
You blend strategic clarity with conceptual strength and impeccable design aesthetics to set the visual vision, govern its execution, and lift creative quality globally. You will be responsible for our visual identity across campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives, working closely with copywriters and the wider Creative Hub to ensure consistent and compelling brand communication.
Key Responsibilities Brand Guardian & Visual Direction Lead the strategic and conceptual development from idea to execution, ensuring that every visual element upholds our Danish design heritage while meeting modern commercial expectations Set the creative direction for 360° brand campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives – including photography, film and events Build, create, and scale brand guidelines (style and tone, typography, colour, photography/motion principles, composition, grids) and roll out guidance that teams and partners can apply consistently Campaign & Content Development Develop visual direction and ensure brand consistency in campaigns and content across paid, organic social, website, retail environments, B2B, editorial and PR communication Define the visual intent for shoots, write/brief treatments, curate mood, casting, styling, and set design; lead on set art direction through to post Utilize insights, data, and market feedback to refine creative output while protecting brand principles Oversee internal brand communication including sell-in materials, iPapers, sizzle presentations and corporate content Cross-Team Collaboration Work hands-on across campaigns, retail expressions, digital platforms, and global storytelling initiatives, balancing long-term brand equity with short-term performance needs and work cross-departmental and secure 360 red thread across all assets Work closely with copywriters to ensure strong visual and verbal storytelling integration Collaborate with internal creative partners including stylists and product teams, B2B as well as external collaborators, agencies and partners Drive art direction from concept to production to postproduction Strong understanding of budget and delivery across 360 channels Strong understanding of commercial and market needs and how this is implemented at a local level (from HQ to local adaptation) Skills & Experience At least 6 years' experience Exceptional conceptual ability – creative velocity mind-set Strong understanding of integrated 360 communication across channels Contribute to campaign messaging hierarchies aligned with message and product priorities Experience in working within global brand environments A boarder shoot and production understanding – (from small shoots to large photo film sessions according to budget frames) Able to multitask several workstreams in a structured way Strong Danish/Scandi & Global network of creatives and partners Experience in CGI/AI tools to elevate efficiency within brand principles An experienced user of: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Monday.com, Teams, Digital Asset Management and postproduction platforms.
