About the job At DEIF A/S, we specialise in the development and manufacturing of electronic devices designed to seamlessly control and switch between various energy sources, including solar, wind, diesel, and batteries, for efficient and reliable power production.
As Technical Engineer, you’ll join the Global 2nd line Service Team in DEIF, consisting of 9 colleagues. You’ll serve as the primary technical expert, providing top-tier support to customers, partners, and internal teams. Your role will include consulting customers and partners in pre- and after-sales activities in complex cases, driving service improvements, and ensuring close collaboration between Service, Sales and R&D.

“It’s not just an exciting job – it’s also incredibly versatile. One day, you might be helping a marine customer troubleshoot a complex power management setup on a vessel, and the next, advising a partner on how to integrate our controllers into a hybrid energy system.” Main responsibilities and tasks Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer cases Build structures (tools and ways of working) and foster global cooperation between global teams Manage big troubleshooting issues and drive product quality issues through R&D and suppliers Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D to improve product quality Manage the development of new products from a service perspective and anchor the knowledge in all our subsidiaries Collaborate with Sales and engage in both pre- and after-sales activities The working place is based in Skive, Denmark.
Danish language skills is an advantage, but not required. What you’ll bring A degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Automation Technology or similar Some experience as a Service Engineer, Application Engineer, or in a related role Familiarity with Power Management and protection devices is a plus Good English skills in speaking and writing Strong interest in using various digital tools Familiarity with PLC programming, ideally with CODESYS (IEC 61131-3, ST) is a plus As a person, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges.
