Global Operational Performance Manager, Supply Chain, Viby
In this newly established role, you will help shape how continuous improvement initiatives are identified, prioritized, governed, delivered, and evaluated across 50+ sites. You will design and strengthen the processes, frameworks, and reporting mechanisms that connect operational excellence, digital transformation, and financial performance, ensuring that productivity initiatives translate into measurable and sustained value for the business.
You will join a growing and ambitious international team of program managers in the Global Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation TMO in Supply Chain. The team drives the planning and execution of strategic initiatives across our value chain, with a strong focus on production operations in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the UK, and beyond.
This includes the portfolio management and scaling of digital solutions, the continuous development of the Arla Performance System, and the establishment of strong communities, standards, and ways of working that enable sites to perform at their best.
How you will make an impact As our new Global Operational Performance Manager, you will be responsible for strengthening how we manage productivity across Supply Chain - from idea generation to value realization. Your key responsibilities will include Driving the Supply Chain productivity agenda by designing and strengthening standardized processes for identifying, prioritizing, and governing productivity initiatives through a structured continuous improvement pipeline (OneCI).
Developing the productivity management framework for our sites, including clear guidance on how operational and financial KPIs are brought to life locally and embedded into factory strategic plans and multi-year productivity roadmaps. Securing, maintaining, and reporting on a transparent 3-year productivity pipeline and roadmap across sites, ensuring alignment between site initiatives, central priorities, and financial targets.Preparing clear, structured updates for senior and executive audiences, translating complex operational data into concise insights on value delivery, risks, and opportunities. Collaborating closely with Finance, Digital, Data, and Operational Excellence teams to ensure consistent KPI definitions, value calculation logic, and governance across the end-to-end productivity lifecycle.
Supporting capability building by developing standards, training materials, and playbooks, as well as coaching site teams to enable them to adopt the productivity framework and best practices with confidence. Through these efforts, you will play a key role in bridging operational and financial performance, ensuring that we develop a unified E2E view of performance management across sites, functions, and the entire value chain.
This role requires you to work from our office in Aarhus. What will make you successful? We imagine that you bring solid experience in operational performance and continuous improvement, with the ability to connect financial and operational perspectives in a manufacturing setting.
You should be comfortable designing frameworks, but equally focused on enabling adoption at site level. We are looking for an ambitious new member for our TMO with A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Industrial Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
4-7 years of experience in productivity management, operational excellence, finance, supply chain, or continuous improvement roles, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG. Strong financial understanding, including experience with business cases, value tracking, productivity pipelines, and translating operational improvements into financial impact.
A clear passion for productivity, continuous improvement, and performance management, with the ability to challenge, structure, and prioritize initiatives. Experience developing and deploying frameworks, standards, or governance models across multiple sites or functions.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs, dashboards, and performance data to drive decision-making. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both operational teams and executive audiences.
