Project Controller Join us as a Project Controller in Project Finance & Audit Operations team, Global Finance, FRISC. Who are we? Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is Denmark’s largest, and a world leading international NGO - one of the few with a specific expertise in forced displacement.
You are going to join the team of Operational Finance and Audit Operations part our HQ-Finance, Risk and Supply Chain Department (FRISC) that aims to provide qualitative and standardized financial support services to DRC operations, while ensuring enhanced financial performance and resource capacities at the operational level.
About the job The purpose of the position is to provide proactive project finance controlling related to DRC’s projects, along with the necessary operational finance support to our country offices, such as informing and advising on financial risks.

As Project Controller there is also the opportunity to join-in as part of a working group around the improvement of financial processes. Key responsibilities Review of proposal budgets and financial donor reports for quality assurance Monthly controlling of assigned country office project portfolio via BI and Power BI reports, such as budget vs actual follow-ups and data quality around financial project management Control country office direct and shared costs in Master Budgets including risks around funding gaps Assistance with project audits to be audited at Headquarters, e.g. DANIDA, USAID and SIDA. Provide expert advice on demand to country offices around financial project management Guide country offices around technical advice related to financial project management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 About you To be successful in this role, we expect you to be a global finance professional, in humanitarian settings, focused on project finance, focused on compliance, but also with a supporting mindset.

All employees should master DRC's core competencies: Communicating, Taking the lead, Collaborating, striving for excellence, and Demonstrating integrity. Moreover, we also expect the following: Degree in Finance/ Business Administration 3 years’ experience in project finances and accounting 5 years hands-on experience with ERP systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure Focused, methodical and able to deliver in a timely manner English in fluent level and at least one of French, or Spanish in advanced level.

We offer. Contract length: Permanent (37 hours per week including lunch) Work Place: Lyngbyvej 100, Copenhagen Denmark. Start date: 15 February 202 or as soon as possible thereafter. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (fuldmægtig niveau).
