Job Description

Mammoet is seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to manage our Danish Finance department. The Manager Finance will be a key member of the Danish Management Team and is responsible for contributing to and implementing the financial strategy and policies in order to optimise the financial results for the business.

This will be achieved through collaboration and building relationships with employees, as well as the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of our services.

The successful candidate is a strong leader, who thrives on effectively managing teams of people. Thorough experience in an international organization is considered a must.

You will be contributing to the formulation, implementation and monitoring of an overall strategy, which is in line with guidelines from Mammoet Holding and the defined yearly budget. This incorporates organising, managing and controlling the organisation and staff, in line with corporate and regional policies, as well as defining and managing staff KPI’s.

You will ensure a strong internal control environment, as well as a risk management strategy, which is compliant with company policies. This includes supporting internal and external audits. Monitoring, analysing and controlling of the quality of the regions financial processes.

You need to initiate, plan and organise the regions financial planning and budgeting process in line with corporate guidelines and control cycle and you will settle the yearly budget in agreement with Mammoet Holding.

You will monitor internal compliance with budgets monthly and initiate corrective or preventative actions, which involves designing and monitoring the Financial Controlling and ensuring execution of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management.

You will be safeguarding company assets through prudent and applicable investment and risk management practises that are aligned with our global Mammoet policies.

You will facilitate timely and effective information to the management team on financial implications and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of both statutory and group consolidation statements and analysing financial information compared to budget and rolling forecasts.

You will be initiating, planning and organising the regions financial planning and budgeting process in line with our corporate guidelines and control cycle. This comprises of monitoring compliance with budgets monthly and initiating corrective or preventative actions through designing and monitoring the Financial Controlling, as well as ensuring execution of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management.

You will be located in Brande, Denmark and report to the Managing Director of Denmark.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or Economic Discipline
  • 5 years of extensive deep and broad work experience in a similar role
  • At least 5 years of management experience, preferably from a similar industry
  • Accounting and reporting at expert level
  • Experience from the transport or crane industry is considered a plus
  • Fluent in English
