Quality Engineer - Production Join a global high‑tech leader and play a key role in the further development of our scalable production At Weibel, we develop, design and manufacture advanced Doppler radar systems to customers across most of the world.
Our Operations function is a fully in-house production flow, from mechanics and electronics to assembly and testing, giving you a unique opportunity to influence the entire value chain. As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our Quality Assurance function in Operations, and we are now looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to further develop the quality foundation that supports our scalability.
This is a role with impact: you will shape how we work with quality across people, processes and suppliers, ensuring that our production setup continues to enable the rising delivery of high‑precision radar systems to our customers. Quality Assurance across the end‑to‑end production flow As Quality Engineer, you will ensure quality throughout Weibel’s full production flow, from critical suppliers to final delivery.
You will drive the implementation of standards, tools and processes that secure stability, traceability and consistent performance in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment. You will collaborate across functions, work hands‑on with technical problem‑solving, and contribute directly to maintaining a scalable and future‑proof production setup.

Your primary tasks include: Driving the quality culture forward by establishing robust processes and practical tools Securing quality performance of critical suppliers through agreements, audits and troubleshooting Leading quality improvement initiatives and supporting departments with problem‑solving Developing and implementing cross‑functional non‑conformity reporting and traceability systems Defining and monitoring relevant production quality KPIs Collaborating closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse and key suppliers to strengthen workflows Your Profile You bring several of the following experiences: Relevant educational background, ideally within production or manufacturing engineering Strong technical understanding and practical experience with DFM, LEAN and production processes Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001); familiarity with standards in defense, aerospace or medical industries is an advantage Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear quality expectations Experience with supplier engagement, including outsourced manufacturing or component sourcing Strong coordination skills and the ability to collaborate across functions Your approach to work: You are structured, systematic and comfortable maintaining overview in a high‑mix production setting You take ownership, enjoy driving improvements and work proactively with opportunities and issues You communicate clearly and build strong working relationships across technical and operational teams You are motivated by being close to the products, the people, and the processes.
