Security Lead You take responsibility for the security of a large and business

  • critical IT environment.

You work hands-on with the technologies, processes and structures that keep our systems stable and protected.

If you want a role where you can apply deep technical insight, improve the security setup and see the direct effect of your work, this position gives you the influence and the mandate to do it.
DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE You work in an environment where systems must run, alerts must make sense, and decisions must be grounded in real technical understanding.
You focus on execution, follow-through and building secure solutions that hold up in daily operations.

Your mission is to: Drive operational security and ensure tasks are handled consistently across infrastructure and applications Strengthen vulnerability management by improving scanning routines, prioritisation and remediation workflows Lead incident response from the first triage to the final documentation of lessons learned Develop logging and monitoring so data becomes actionable and supports early detection Operate and refine the SIEM platform and collaborate with our MDR provider to secure full visibility Maintain and improve IAM and PAM processes so access control is reliable and easy to audit Optimise Microsoft security features together with Digital Workplace & Support and Information Security Support data protection work including classification, DLP and other GDPR-related controls Conduct structured risk and vulnerability assessments and translate results into concrete improvements Assess vendors and new systems from a security perspective and support procurement decisions Work with regulatory requirements like “loven om styrket beredskab” and GDPR and turn them into practical routines JOIN A TEAM OF MINDFUL ACHIEVERS You become part of a team of engineers and specialists who focus on stable operations, clear processes and continuous technical improvement.

The team works with a broad infrastructure stack, and your security perspective becomes a natural part of design, development and daily operations.
You collaborate with colleagues across IT, business units and external partners.
Discussions are straightforward and based on experience.
Decisions are made on facts, not flavour-of-the-month trends.
When something needs to change, you are involved in how and why.
We work hybrid, but much of the coordination benefits from on-site presence, especially when topics involve infrastructure, incident handling or planning of changes.
LET US SWITCH THE FOCUS TO YOU You succeed in this role because you know how complex systems behave, and you understand the difference between theoretical security and what actually works in production.

You naturally: Take ownership of tasks and initiatives from start to finish, maintaining momentum and contributing to shared team results, even when scope and direction are not fully defined Are a strong team player who collaborates closely with colleagues, draws on the team’s collective knowledge and actively involves others in important decisions Work confidently with operational security, monitoring, incident handling and threat understanding across modern IT environments Navigate SIEM, log management, endpoint and cloud security, IAM and PAM, and prioritise vulnerabilities and risks based on real-world impact and system interactions Communicate clearly with engineers and stakeholders, ensuring decisions are practical, well-aligned and anchored in the team Stay curious about technologies, tools and methods that strengthen security while supporting operational excellence, balancing protection with usability and challenging solutions that add complexity without value Collaborate easily across teams and communicate fluently in Danish and English If you want a role where your technical insight shapes how we secure a complex IT environment, we look forward to hearing how you would approach the work.

We encourage candidates from all backgrounds and identities to apply, as we believe that a diverse team leads to innovation and success.
Please note that this role requires working from our office location in Aarhus N.
