Contact organisation The trash café is growing and we need a new driver coordinator.We imagine that it could be a retiree or early retiree, as it is a task that can be a bit time-consuming some days.
However, you will not be left alone with the task.
The task consists of: Coordination of drivers and scheduling of routes when picking up surplus food from supermarkets.
Training of the drivers (of course, you are trained yourself on how to do it).Providing equipment when drivers lack it.
Have time to sit in the Trash Cafe a few days a week so that the drivers have the opportunity to contact them if there are any challenges.
Have daily communication with the drivers, for example regarding cancellations and replacements.
Contact partners in case of cancellations.
You will be part of the daily management team at the Trash Café, and the task is therefore also in collaboration with both the daily manager and the volunteer coordinator who deals with the volunteers in receiving goods.
