Gamst Aquakultur, part of AquaPri, is a cutting-edge RAS (recirculating aquaculture system) facility near Vejen, specializing in the production of freshwater pike-perch for human consumption. Built in 2016, the facility is in rapid development and poised for significant growth.

We’re Hiring: Production Operator
Do you have a passion for aquaculture and a drive to make a difference in a growing company?We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operator to join our team in a full-time role.
Your Responsibilities- Daily care: Feeding and monitoring fish stocks
- Water quality: Daily analyses and follow-up on RAS parameters
- Operational support: Sorting and packing fish
- Documentation: Record-keeping and reporting
- Technical: Inspection and maintenance of equipment (sensors, nets, etc.)
- Data collection, analysis, and registration of production inputs and outputs in our Aqua management system
- Supervision: Participating in a watch rotation approximately every 4/6 weeks
- Strategic input: Involvement in production planning, upcoming expansion phases, process and production practices improvements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aquaculture or related fields
- Educational background in biology, aquaculture, or animal science
- Practical experience in RAS systems is a strong advantage
- Capable of working independently and in teams
- Able to manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willing to take responsibility and grow with us
- Languages: Danish and/or English (Danish is a plus, but not mandatory)
- Residence proximity: During watch duty, you must be within a 20-minute drive of the farm. If you do not live nearby, accommodation close to the facility is provided during your on-call shifts
