We are looking for a manager who will lead a team that ensure product reliability on launched products – handling design changes to solve prioritized quality issues and changes in component supply.
The position is in Middelfart (DK). From launch to legacy This is a unique opportunity to lead a newly established, cross-functional team responsible for supporting products that are already released into the market. Your task is to ensure continued customer satisfaction by maintaining high product quality and throughout the entire lifecycle – after the product has been launched.
Where your management skills make a real-world difference As the Manager of InMarket Product Support, you lead a skilled cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and improving products that have been released for sale. This role ensures continued customer satisfaction, resilient supply chain, regulatory compliance, and product quality throughout the lifecycle of diagnostic devices, while enabling R&D to focus on new product development.
Main tasks & responsibilities Lead the InMarket Product Support team and ensure alignment across functions and legal manufacturers. Promote a culture of engagement, execution, and excellence in your organization and support the same across Diagnostics.
Serve as process owner for Diagnostics Change Control process within the scope of in-market product support. Prioritize and oversee all ongoing design changes classified as “medium” under our Change Control process. Ensure regulatory compliance with ISO 13485, MDR, FDA, and applicable laws when implementing design changes.
Maintain a centralized Diagnostics overview of all CAPAs and design changes, including responsibilities, stages, and target dates. Define and manage communication flows between InMarket Product Support, legal manufacturers, and Diagnostics Sales and Service companies.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Supply Chain, Product Managers and Production to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. Request and coordinate additional R&D resources when needed, based on technical complexity, business criticality, and patient risk.
Oversee continuous improvement in processes, documentation, and team capabilities. Ensure focus and prioritization of CAPA investigations. Leader with technical insight and global perspective We are looking for a leader with a strong technical background who understands the engineering field and is willing to challenge solutions to achieve the best results.
You have knowledge of quality standards and can navigate complex frameworks and the consequences of your decisions. This role requires a self-driven leader who can balance speed, quality, and priorities—and someone employees want to follow – attentive, humble, and decisive even when the pace is high.
Experience in remote leadership and collaboration within global quality leadership teams is a strong advantage. Your experience and leadership profile We imagine that you: Hold a master’s degree in engineering or related field. Have leadership experience in medical device development, quality assurance, or product lifecycle management.
Build on a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (ISO 13485, MDR, FDA). Demonstrate proficient project management and prioritization skills. Utilize continuous improvement tools and methods. Have experience with CAPA processes and change-control systems.
