You will report directly to the Vice President, Global Medical Affairs, collaborating closely with other functions within ALK, including Global Marketing, Digital Customer Engagement, and Corporate Communication.As Global Medical Compliance Manager you will play a pivotal role in advancing medical compliance excellence across ALK functions that interact with healthcare providers and the general public at large. The position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure our organisation adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry code-of-conduct & standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance, participating in compliance projects, identifying compliance gaps, and safeguarding the long-term sustainability of our organisation.You will be based at the ALK Head Office in Hørsholm, Denmark and it is expected that you will travel internationally up to 15 days per year.Your primary tasks will be:Develop, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and forms to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Oversee the medical-legal review process regarding promotional material for ALK’s portfolio of prescription-only-medication and disease awareness content.Oversee ALK’s global code-of-conduct regarding interaction with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organisations (HCOs), including framework for related consultancy/partnership agreement and setting fair-market value.Oversee compliance training for ALK Chief Medical Office, including project lead for transition of compliance training to a digital platform.In collaboration with ALK legal department have oversight of data protection policy, including GDPR requitements, related to HCP targeted digital scientific events.Oversee ALK global HCP cross border transfer-of-value disclosure process.Key ALK Global Headquarters contact person with the Danish Medicine Agency and the Ethical Committee for the Pharmaceutical Industry in Denmark (ENLI).Your profileWe expect that you have:At least 2-3 years’ experience in a compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with experience in managing HCP-related activities.Academic background within life science is preferred.Ability to manage multiple requirements and remain composed under pressure.Proven ability to work in teams, cross-functionally, and independently.Team player, analytical and have a positive can-do attitude.Strong quality mindset while being able to provide solution-oriented assistance and direction to both medical and commercial colleagues.Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.Become a part of ALKWe provide an attractive working environment for individuals looking for both personal and professional development.
