Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Aarhus University is looking for a part-time lecturer in International Construction Law to run our summer course in international construction law.The position is a part-time position with an expected workload of 210 hours a year.

Expected start It is a permanent position.
Expected start date is 1 October 2026.
The job The candidate is expected to be the main teacher on the Internal Construction Law summer course at Aarhus University.
The candidate is expected to Plan and coordinate the International Construction Law course, including curriculum, lecturing plans, arranging guests, etc.

Be the main teacher on the International Construction Law course Run the examination of the International Construction Law course Your profile The candidate is expected to be an internationally recognized expert in International Construction Law and to Have a PhD degree in construction Law or related area Have practical/industrial experience with Construction Law Have a deep knowledge on FIDIC Have experience with teaching Construction Law at Master level Who we are Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering was established on January 1, 2021 in connection with Aarhus University’s reorganization of the engineering area.

The department employs around 100 people and is responsible for research and education within the department’s scientific areas.
We educate both Bachelors and Masters of Science in Engineering and around 950 students are enrolled in our study programs.
Furthermore, we also offer an ambitious PhD program.

We collaborate with a wide range of public and private enterprises, and many of the department's research and development activities are based on the innovation needs of the business community.
Through collaboration, we ensure that the knowledge and technology generated in the university's technical research environments are clearly anchored in reality and benefit the surrounding society.
Based on our research on building materials, architectural design and technology, we also offer research-based public sector services and consultancy on technology to public agencies and ministries.

Qualifications To be employed as part-time lecturer requires qualifications at Master's degree level as well as additional high-level qualifications, e.g.
special theses, knowledge or practical experience gained through employment in the professional field related to the academic specialisation in question.
Teaching qualifications form part of the assessment basis.
