IT Application Operations Specialist Picture this: You are part of a humorous team embarking on a transformation journey where you will take a great responsibility for a customer-facing system while being presented with a great learning opportunity as the system is relatively new on the market.
Does it sound interesting to you? Apply now! The job Joining the team as our new specialist you join as part of the implementation project. Your initial task will be to pick up knowledge of our ways of working as well as on the tool side. So, in this role you ensure operational excellence on our ITSM-platform, having it operate stable and safe, keeping users and the user adoption journey supported, and continuously evaluating impact of new features from new releases.In short, some of your key tasks will be to: Handle daily platform operations and maintenance tasks, monitor platform performance and health indicators, manage user access requests and permission changes and document solutions and maintain operational runbooks.
Serve as first point of contact for platform-related user queries and providing hands-on assistance to users with platform features, i.e. by creating and updating knowledge-base articles. Execute platform patches and updates, perform regular backups and validate recovery procedures, ensure compliance with security policies and our processes (ITIL) and monitor license usage and compliance.
Implement small-scale platform enhancements. Test and deploy platform changes in accordance with change management and release processes. In this role, there will be minimal travelling, but you must expect one-two weeks a year as a maximum. Joining the team Joining Systematic as our new IT Application Operations Specialist, you will join the Business Applications team who are responsible for Enterprise Applications that are used across all Systematic, including the ERP-, HR-, ITSM-system, and the collaboration- and automation-platform.
Together with the business stakeholders and our external partners the team is developing solutions and operates these to digitally enable Systematic’s business processes. The team has 14 members spread between Aarhus, Denmark, and Bucharest, Romania, and is a very diverse teams.What unites us is our determination to provide value to Systematic and our sense of humour, which creates a positive working environment. Your qualifications We envisage that you bring a degree in IT and around three-five years of experience in a similar position, or within IT support/help desk, working with ITSM-platforms in a service-organisation.
Furthermore, we expect that you are certified in ITIL, expectedly at foundation level. Additionally, we are trying to find a colleague who has experience with Ivanti, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms. Maybe you even bring some experience in scripting (JavaScript).
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
