Backend Software Engineer Continia is looking for a versatile and ambitious Backend Software Engineer to design and develop scalable backend platforms and RESTful APIs. You will be part of our engineering teams and be empowered to make product-wide technical decisions, contributing to a variety of exciting projects across Continia.
About your role As a Backend Software Engineer at Continia, you will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and product specialists to design and implement backend solutions that support Continia’s products and services.
Your work will have a broad impact across our product portfolio, enabling innovation and ensuring high-performance solutions for our customers. What you will be doing: Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services used across multiple Continia products.
Collaborate with product managers, product specialists, and engineers to define and refine requirements. Write robust, scalable code with strong coverage through automated tests. Investigate and prototype new technologies and services to keep our products future-ready.
Balance shipping quickly with building long-term maintainable solutions by evaluating tradeoffs in different scenarios. What we are looking for A passion for creating clean, high-performance, and maintainable code. Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services, preferably in an Azure or AWS environment.
Solid experience in backend/middle-tier technologies such as .NET and relational and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Azure Bicep, Terraform, or similar) to deploy secure and scalable infrastructure. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes). Proficiency in frontend technologies (React/Angular/Vue, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus. Working at Continia At Continia, we foster an innovative, entrepreneurial, and agile environment.
