Student Assistant Engineering
Join us in the role of a Student Assistant in Struers Engineering team in Ballerup, where you will report directly to the Global Engineering Director.
Your responsibilities
In your role you will work on a variety of tasks related to our equipment and consumables. Your main tasks will be documentation, laboratory testing, data analysis and data structure. Depending on the assigned task, you will be collaborating with our engineers (mechanical and chemical), project managers, process technicians and technical writers.
Key tasks:
- Update product documentation
- Create overview and structure of documentation
- Laboratory testing (chemical and/or mechanical)
- Data structure and analysis
- Daily ad hoc tasks
Your qualifications
You are a student nearing the completion of a degree within an engineering/technologist discipline. You bring a “can-do” attitude, and a strong willingness to take initiative. We expect you to take ownership of your work and manage your tasks independently.
A great candidate for this position will provide some of the below skills:
- Strong analytical skills and able to present data in an easy-to-understand manner
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
- SolidWorks (or 3D design tools) experience
- Experience with laboratory testing (chemical and/or mechanical)
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- Contract period: Minimum 9-12 months
- Working hours: average 15 hours per week
- Start date: June / July 2025
- Close collaboration with a team of super-skilled engineers, technicians and technical writers
