The Job As a student programmer at the research center, you will be part of a dynamic workplace and will be working together with a team of highly dedicated researchers on several projects within the field of Firms and Industry Dynamics. The center conducts research on firms' behavior and responses to outside changes, the dynamic adjustments of sectors, and the economic systems' overall responses in general equilibrium.An important part of your tasks will be empirical analyses, and during the employment you will obtain access to Danish register data/Statistics Denmark.Your specific work tasks will be defined and adjusted on an ongoing basis in coordination with the lead researchers on the projects.
For example, your work tasks will include: Assistance to researchers on programming tasks in SAS, Stata and R Work on register data, structuring and analysing data Reports, including production of tables, figures, etc. Ad hoc administrative support to researchers at the center Who can apply?The position is relevant for students with a few years of enrollment as well as students who are about to start working on their master’s theses. Terms of employment The workplace will be at Institut for Økonomi, Universitetsbyen 51, 8000 Aarhus CStart-up: 1 September 2026.Working hours are an average of 9 hours per week with flexible scheduling in agreement with the immediate manager, for instance during exam periods.You will be employed as student programmer.Salery and other terms as agreed between the Ministry of Finance and PROSA/Stat.
