Your Role As the Product Development Manager
- Lighting, you will be at the helm of our product creation process, overseeing and taking part in the development of our entire lighting collection.

- ensuring that every piece reflects our commitment to quality and positive impact.
- Lead and Inspire: Mentor and manage a talented team of product developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Strategic Vision: Define and execute the product development strategy, aligning with &Tradition’s brand values and company goals.
- Supplier Partnerships: Working closely with colleagues in Purchasing and Operations, build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and supply partners around the world, ensuring high-quality production standards and ethical sourcing practices.
- Project Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of all lighting products and projects, securing our customer promise.
- Process Optimization: Implement efficient workflows and best practices to streamline development processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Budget Management: Oversee the product development budget, ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising on design integrity.
- Impact Focus: Ensure we deliver to our Product Impact Goals, integrating circular design principles and low impact materials into product development.
- Travel: Engage in regular travel to meet with suppliers, attend industry events, and oversee production processes, approximately 10-12 times per year.
Your Profile We are looking for a leader who embodies our core values of curiosity, continual development, and a commitment to positive impact.
You should possess:- 3+ years experience in leading product development teams within the lighting industry
- A deep understanding of materials, construction, manufacturing processes, and supply setups
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and negotiation skills
- Excellent visualisation skills using 3D software (e.g.
KeyShot), and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A track record of managing budgets and delivering projects on time and within scope.
- A passion for making positive impact and a proactive approach to integrating circular practices into product development.
- Fluency in English and ability to travel internationally Why Join Us?
