SAP Tax Technology Senior Consultant or a Manager to join our Compliance Management and Transformation team in Hellerup
If you are eager to take your SAP expertise to the next level, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you. The Compliance Management and Transformation team We are seeking an experienced SAP Tax Technology senior consultant or manager to join our CMT team.
You will become a part of our data-driven Compliance Management & Transformation team, where we support clients in the rapidly changing world of finance, compliance, and tax. We bring business and strategic insights by applying innovative data management and analytics solutions to their challenges, and we use our data transformation skills to help clients optimize and automate their financial processes.
About the Job You will be responsible for configuring SAP Tax module (FI, MM, SD) as per EU/VAT Indirect tax laws and integrating SAP (primarily) with the e-Invoicing and e-reporting platforms to ensure compliance with global e-invoicing regulations.
You will also be responsible for designing, configuring the Compliance platform as per client needs and in line with e-Invoicing mandates of authorities. Experience with tax engines and indirect tax processes is highly desirable. Please note that this role will require travel.
The travel time is depending on the project requirements. Your profile You are a good team player with a learner’s mindset, demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management skills are also essential for this role.
We imagine that you have: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, with a strong focus on tax configuration and determination Proven expertise in SAP ERP integration, especially within SD, FI, and MM modules Solid experience with e-invoicing and e-reporting platforms such as SAP DRC, Sovos, or PEGARO Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs) Demonstrated ability to work with technical teams (e.g., ABAP developers) on SAP enhancements and integrations In-depth knowledge of indirect tax processes, including EU VAT, compliance, and reporting requirements Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong stakeholder management and team collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Configuration knowledge in SAP related to set-up of Ledger like primary ledger or leading ledger for direct tax Working experience with SAP PaPM, LongView, Alteryx, OS Tax provision, or similar tool for direct tax.
Preferred qualifications Experience with third-party tax engines (e.g., Vertex, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Avalara) Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting).
