Are you ready to embark on a life-changing journey as an International Operations People & Organisation (HR) Graduate, starting in Denmark. Read on and apply today!

Your new role

Our Graduate Programme is all about bringing together diverse change makers and equipping you with tools for personal and career growth while pushing you to grow beyond your limits and discover your full potential.

During your rotations, you will:

  • Undertake three exciting and challenging rotations of eight months each, which will include our International Operations Strategic Operations, Denmark, one of our P&O Centres of Excellence in Denmark and a global affiliate.
  • Gain hands-on experience with business challenges and risks in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and develop a strong P&O understanding to impact the business.
  • Build the competencies required to become a future P&O leader or specialist at Novo Nordisk.

Your graduate track

As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Covering 194 countries and 95% of the world's population, more than 18,000 of us work passionately to serve 35 million patients each day. With a promise to outperform the competition, we continue to be the growth driver for Novo Nordisk, and to improve health at scale across the globe.

IO is split into five regions, spread across every continent of the globe with a head office (IO Strategic Operations) based in Zurich, Switzerland.

In your role you will work closely with senior leaders in our People & Organisation functions, building an international network of world-class colleagues. You’ll be mentored by experienced professionals equipping you with the skills and experience needed to become a valued and integral part of our company.

Your skills & qualifications

To succeed in the role, we seek candidates who fulfil the following criteria:

  • A master’s degree obtained in 2025 or 2026, demonstrating above-average academic achievements in one or more of the following fields: Human Resources Management, business administration, or international business.
  • International experience from studying abroad, or through work or volunteering opportunities.
  • Relevant work experience of no more than one year of full-time work either between, during or after completing a master’s degree.
  • Professional fluency in English and willingness to relocate globally.

Additionally, you should possess a team-player attitude, demonstrate excellent communication skills, exhibit a strong drive, and a genuine eagerness to learn, all complemented by an international mindset.

Working at Novo Nordisk

Every day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases. To do this, we approach our work with an unconventional spirit, a rare determination and a constant curiosity. For over 100 years this unordinary mindset has seen us build a company unlike any other.

One where a collective passion for our purpose, mutual respect and a willingness to go beyond what we know delivers extraordinary results.

What we offer

There is, of course, more on offer here than the uniqueness of our culture and the extraordinary results we produce. Being part of a global healthcare company means opportunities to learn and develop are all around us, while our benefits are designed with your career and life stage in mind.

Novo Nordisk supports a healthy work-life balance by offering flexible working hours, promoting a culture of well-being, and encouraging employees to prioritize their mental and physical health.

In your cover letter, please address the following points:

  • Your expectations from the Graduate Programme.
  • Qualities your colleagues value in you when working together.
  • Define innovation in the context of human resources, in your opinion.

Deadline

Apply by 7 December 2025 (GMT+1). Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.

We’re not your typical healthcare company. In a modern world of quick fixes, we focus on solutions to defeat serious chronic diseases and promote long-term health. Our unordinary mindset is at the heart of everything we do. We seek out new ideas and put people first as we push the boundaries of science, make healthcare more accessible, and treat, prevent, and even cure diseases that affect millions of lives.

Because it takes an unordinary approach to drive real, lasting change in health.
