Head of Financial Planning and Analysis
Who are we? You will join four other managers as part of a diverse and collaborative Finance Leadership Team, working under the supervision of the Global Finance Director. Together, this team drives financial excellence and innovation across DRC’s global operations.
About the job In this role, you will manage a team of 5 FPA Business Partners and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for HQ and country offices. You will provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions, improve financial processes, and help integrate modern tools like automation and analytics into our workflows.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be: Manage and support the FPA team to deliver accurate and timely financial planning and reporting. Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership teams at HQ and in countries Build alignment with the team and across teams during periods of transformation Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to enhance systems and analytics About you To be successful in this role we expect you to combine strong analytical skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and proactively drive improvements in financial processes and systems.
Moreover, we also expect the following: Required At least 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including some leadership responsibilities. University degree in finance, business management, or accounting. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Familiarity with ERP systems and interest in BI tools and automation. Leading people through change with clarity and confidence. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at both strategic and operational levels. Fluency in English. Desirable Experience in international NGOs or multi-country organizations.
