Sales Representative
As Sales Representative in Denmark, you will be responsible for the achievement of the commercial targets, driving sales, maximizing revenue and profit for the UBS brands and strengthening customer relationships within your assigned territory.
Your key responsibilities Sales executionYou implement the local sales strategy in alignment with broader commercial goals.You lead sales activities for a dedicated territory and/or customer within the country.You drive performance to meet or exceed annual sales targets through focused execution.You support sales processes by managing essential administrative tasks when needed (e.g., order input, sample coordination, delivery tracking).You consistently communicate the value of UBS’s product portfolio to customers, reinforcing our unique value proposition.Customer relationship managementYou strengthen and maintain close relationships with sugar factories, growers and partners in order to drive increasing brand loyalty and sales.You actively promote the UBS brands to sugar factories, growers and partners to motivate and drive their interest and desire for the brands.You identify customer needs and collect/synthesize feedback from the field.You identify drivers for customer satisfaction and where appropriate, drive initiatives with the support of other UBS teams (Technical Crop Service team, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.).You give technical support and advice in collaboration with our Technical Crop Service team when needed.You ensure data- driven decision making by capturing customer information and documenting activities in a CRM system (or similar).Field support & local initiativesYou support local marketing and product initiatives (events, trials, …).You report commercial insights and activities to the Country Head of Sales.
Your profile You have a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent practical experience in the agro-sector).You have some years of experience working in agricultural companies in a sales function or as a consultant.You have a sound understanding of crop production practices, especially in sugar beet or other arable crops.You have a good agricultural background and commercial skills.
Preferably, you have experience with (or related to) beet growing.You have strong sales skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets, and you’re able to implement the commercial plan in alignment with the country’s strategies.You’re able to proactively identify local growth opportunities.You’re skilled in managing relationships with distributors, cooperatives, customers and key accounts.You have a customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with growers and customers.
You have good active listening and consultative selling skills to understand and meet customer needs.You’re able to explain technical product features and benefits, and have experience in conducting field visits, product demonstrations and trials.You have effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.You have a collaborative mindset with the ability to share field insights and contribute to team success.You’re able to work with digital tools and services.You’re proficient in Danish; basic English skills are necessary for internal communication.You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.In this role, you will be based on our site in Holeby, Denmark.
