We provide regional power system planning data and security analysis to ensure efficient operation of the Nordic power grid and a high level of security of supply—every hour of every day.The RoleThe Analytics & Information Management team plays a central role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across Nordic RCC. The team develops and maintains analytical products, data pipelines, and information services that support operational, strategic, and regulatory needs.As Team Lead, you will guide a multidisciplinary group of eight employees and consultants — including data scientists, analytics developers, and data engineers — ensuring high‑quality deliveries and a collaborative, inclusive team culture.The Team Lead role is pivotal in ensuring that departmental objectives are met while maintaining a high level of engagement and well‑being. You will foster a culture of trust, learning, and continuous improvement, supporting both strategic goals and day‑to‑day operations. You will also contribute to a positive team culture aligned with Nordic RCC values.You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders — including peer Team Leads, the Leadership Team, Legal, Finance, and HR — as well as external partners such as TSO experts and managers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, plan, and coordinate cross-disciplinary analytics work and oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytics products, reporting solutions and data servicesAnchoring analytics and reporting processes in the Nordic RCC organization, and driving adoption of reporting and analytics products both in the NRCC and in the Nordic stakeholder landscapeManage analytics data infrastructure, pipelines and reporting processes – supervising the design, maintenance and optimization of data pipelines and data platforms to ensure reliable, high-quality data availabilityAssess, manage, and develop competences within a multidisciplinary analytics teamPrioritize and delegate work effectively, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilitiesPerform HR‑related activities in line with Nordic RCC policiesEngage and motivate employees through feedback, coaching, and recognitionManage consultants and ensure proper onboarding and procurement processesParticipate in budget planning and cost control for analytics tools, platforms, and servicesKey deliveries/outputsHigh-quality analytics and reporting processes and deliverables that are adopted across the Nordic RCC (and TSOs, where relevant)A well-functioning, curious and creative team enabled to deliver both in cross-functional and individual processesCompetence development and professional growth of team membersEffective management and prioritization of analytics, reporting and data engineering tasksClear and relevant reporting on activities, progress, and risksQualificationsWe expect you to bring a strong combination of leadership capability and hands-on analytics experience.
