We provide regional power system planning data and security analysis to ensure efficient operation of the Nordic power grid and a high level of security of supply—every hour of every day.The RoleThe Analytics & Information Management team consists of 8 employees and consultants, and plays a central role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across Nordic RCC. The team develops and maintains analytical products, data pipelines, BI solutions, and information services that support operational, strategic, and regulatory needs.As a Data Engineer with BI expertise, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to design, build, and maintain high‑quality data pipelines and BI products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with diverse roles and personalities, can explain complex topics clearly, and thrives in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.Professional qualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar roleStrong experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and data transformationsHands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar), including dashboard design and data product developmentProficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing conceptsExperience with analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or similar)Experience developing user-friendly interfaces for data consumption (dashboards, reports, data apps)Experience operationalizing analytics models or integrating data science outputs into production systemsExperience with cloud environments (Azure preferred)Knowledge of power systems and the energy sector is a plus, but not a requirement.If you’re unsure whether you meet all qualifications, we still encourage you to apply — your experience and perspective may be exactly what we’re looking for.Working EnvironmentYou’ll join a diverse and enthusiastic team in our office at Copenhagen Towers, Ørestad.
