A day in the life
As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities, including:
- Partner with the CEO in Denmark, leading local operations and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee and improve daily operations, including production, fabrication, procurement, and logistics
- Support and challenge technical teams on development and implementation of solutions
- Mitigate organizational risks by facilitating knowledge transfer and reducing over-reliance on individuals
- Oversee successful project delivery, with a focus on pilot setups, fabrication timelines, and customer engagements
- Maintain cohesion and a unified team culture across locations
- Support the CEO in administrative tasks such as reporting, documentation, internal coordination, and process follow-up
- Foster pragmatic, action-oriented communication and decision-making
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (marine/mechanical/environmental preferred)
- Operational experience: 3–5 years minimum in a hands-on, small or mid-sized company
- Strong practical sense: comfortable “rolling up sleeves” when needed and making on-the-ground decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities across technical, administrative, and people-related areas
- Fluent in Danish and English. Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Basic understanding of finance and business operations (budgeting, reporting, etc.)
- Emotionally intelligent, trustworthy, and able to respectfully challenge status quo
- Familiarity with small-scale manufacturing or piloting setups is a plus
- Candidates must have the willingness and ability to travel 20-50 days per year
