Internship: Event Day Volunteer Assistant (Unpaid)

We are currently looking for motivated volunteers/interns to assist our team 30-35 hours a week until mid September.

Your Role

As an Event Day Volunteer Assistant at TechBBQ, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to various aspects of the event and its preparations. Specifically working towards making the program for all event-day volunteers for the 2-day summit, and executing on operational elements to help bring it to life.

• Communication with the Event Day Volunteers
• Together with the Event Manager have the lead on the Event-day volunteer program
• Being the point of contact for the volunteers up to the summit and doing the summit days
• Supporting the Events teams with ad-hoc tasks

• Has experience working with volunteers
• Is motivated and eager to learn
• Detail-oriented
• Can move between different tasks with ease
• Strong communication skills (internal and external).
• The ability to connect with a wide range of people
• Professionalism and service-minded
• Committed!

• Experience with events
• Interest in and understanding of complex technology/entrepreneurship topics
• Stakeholder management skills
