At BEUMER Group in Aarhus, we’re looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team of 30+ engineers.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering intelligent software solutions that keep luggage and parcels moving efficiently through some of the world’s busiest airports and logistics centres. What you’ll do Contribute to software projects ranging from quick-turnaround tasks to large-scale, multi-developer initiatives.
Design, develop, and optimize backend systems, GUIs, databases, and algorithms for high-performance sortation equipment. Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to integrate software with mechanical and electronic systems. Balance innovation with practicality, delivering robust solutions that meet real-world operational demands.
Own the full development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment and commissioning. What you bring to the job Experience in software development, ideally in complex or distributed systems. Experience in Java, and preferably in one or more of the following: C#, HTML5, SQL.
Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, modeling techniques, and QA principles. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in cross-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills in English. A passion for building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
