Procurement Category Manager - Indirect Procurement

Viby J Would you like to join a strategic, global Procurement Department, where you will be responsible for the main part of the Facility categories including: Security Manpower Catering Clothes PPE Laundry Pest Control You will join 200 colleagues in a Procurement team spread across 12 locations (e.g., Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Poland, and Hong Kong).
On behalf of our global organization, we manage procurement activities with an annual spend of approximately EUR 4.3 billion. How you will make an impact You will be part of a small team (4 people) focused on Facility, Travel, Professional Services, and Laboratory, sitting within the Procurement Business Services team.
In the Business Services team, we are 15 people across 4 locations, and all team members contribute to a great team spirit regardless of role or location. We foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels comfortable speaking up. We expect you to successfully navigate the complexity of the Facility category as you: Develop, launch, and drive RFPs to select suppliers in targeted categories in collaboration with stakeholders.
Drive the compliance agenda within your categories together with your procurement colleagues. Ensure all supplier contracts are compliant with internal policies and external regulations to mitigate risk and support our business objectives. You will have full support from our Contract Manager in this process.
Participate in cross-functional projects, coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers. Development of category strategies. What will make you successful The ideal candidate has experience in strategic procurement and ideally knowledge of some of the categories in scope. Experience from tactical and operational procurement is also relevant. We expect you to have a commercial mindset and thrive in negotiations, building relationships with stakeholders across the organization, running projects, and optimizing processes.
Furthermore, you: Hold a relevant education and have experience from a similar position, with several years of procurement knowledge including negotiations—both commercial and legal. Have a project management mindset and can support and lead stakeholders from start to end in a procurement process.
Are resilient and willing to take the lead. Thrive on building positive relationships and can manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Are structured and analytical. Possess advanced MS Office skills. Lastly, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
