Your role You will be responsible for Software category and asset management to create, develop and maintain software licenses, across Global IT and LEO Pharma.
Develop and execute the Global Software category strategy, including sourcing, contract management, renewal planning and identification/execution of cost‑saving opportunities. Maintain detailed spend and contract visibility (owners, end dates, commitments, flexibility, T&Cs) and run tenders/RFX with full transparency in supplier selection.
Ensure appropriate tools, policies and processes are in place for software asset and license management; keep accurate records of licenses, usage and software associations. Oversee license governance and compliance readiness: maintain risk log, coordinate vendor audits and validations, and manage remediation/follow‑up activities.
Act as trusted advisor and lead stakeholder management across IT, business and suppliers, driving alternatives and protecting total cost of ownership. Hold procurement ownership for assigned vendors, managing commercial relationships (price, payment terms, contractual issues) and ensuring controls and execution.
Your qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: University degree (or equivalent) and 0–2 years’ procurement/category experience. Familiarity with software asset/license management (SAM) tools and processes, and a solid understanding of licensing models, TCO and compliance.
Experience or exposure to contract development and negotiation for business‑critical agreements; awareness of supplier contractual/legal issues. Strong analytical, process improvement and project‑management capabilities to support procurement initiatives and standardization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (technical staff to senior management), fluent in English and Danish language skills preferable. Able to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities. Extensive broad understanding of categories within areas of responsibility.
