About the Role

We are looking for a Team Lead / Project Manager to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will lead software implementation projects for public and private transport operators and manage a team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex software solutions — coordinating between customers, internal teams, and development — while also providing leadership and direction to your team.

This is a long-term position offering a combination of project delivery and people leadership, ideally suited for someone who enjoys working with both customers and teams in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management
  • Manage demanding software implementation projects for public transport companies (e.g., railway companies, public transport authorities, local operators).
  • Plan, organize, and control implementation processes, including time, budget, and resource management.
  • Create and maintain project plans, oversee risk management, and ensure delivery against defined milestones.
  • Take a hands-on role in configuration, customization, testing, and rollouts.
  • Manage projects independently from start to finish, ensuring our KPIs are achieved.
Customer Support & Implementation
  • Support customers in implementing our software solutions tailored to their operational needs.
  • Configure and adapt the software to individual customer requirements.
  • Ensure quality assurance, documentation (business and IT), and compliance with standards.
  • Support change management activities, including process adjustments and user adoption.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop a team of consultants.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, support talent development, and allocate resources effectively across projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and balanced team culture.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
  • Act as the key interface between customers, internal departments, development, and support.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and trusted advisory.
  • Collaborate with development and product management to incorporate customer feedback into product evolution.
  • Support sales with customer acquisition, scoping discussions, and product presentations.
Your Profile
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally in software implementation or IT services.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading teams or a clear ambition to take on a team lead role.
  • Good knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) and status reporting.
  • Technical understanding of interfaces (API), data models, data migration, and data quality.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Independent, structured way of working with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience in public transport industry domains (planning, scheduling, passenger information, ticketing, billing, operations) is advantageous.
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written); knowledge of German or Danish languages is a plus.
