Technical Product Owner Do you want to be part of creating front-end software for Weibels highly advanced surveillance radars? In Weibel we develop highly advanced radar systems for both defence and civilian applications. We are constantly improving and optimizing our operator software.
We would like you to join our development team to strengthen and preserve our ability to stay on top in one of the most challenging and advanced parts of modern software industry. Our goal is to present the advanced functionalities in our radar systems are presented in an intuitive and simple application that is easy to use for the radar operator.
The primary challenge of this position is to manage requirements, drive design, negotiate development and plan tests. The secondary challenge is to be the technical experts on the hardware, software, communication protocols and networking used in the application.
This will require technical hands-on work with both our hardware and software. Develop and implement procedures and tools to test advanced radar systems You will work together with our customers and trusted partners to integrate, develop and test command and control software with our surveillance radars.
Your tasks will primarily be to: Collect requirements and transform them into functional specifications Create and track Epics, User stories and issues in Jira Work as Product Owner towards customers Self-evaluate deliveries by doing hands-on testing Create technical documentation Create test plans and test cases for our ITV department Participate in FATs and SATs Do various technical hands-on work such as upgrades, scripting, networks etc.

Our technical environment consists of Intel based PC hardware, Windows OS, Windows based applications, TCP/IP based networking, Video grabber software etc. Your professional CV comprises: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronic or Software Engineering Proven experience with software used in industrial applications Take charge attitude and the will/ability to own your area Experience managing technical projects Strong focus on delivery according to requirements Ability to become the technical expert on the technology used in the applications Experience writing technical documentation, test plans and handling test cases Experience with C2 software and ASTERIX protocol is considered an advantage Excellent communication skills in English We do not expect you to have radar knowledge as long as you are motivated for a steep learning curve.
