What you’ll achieve
As an Operations Engineer (SRE/DevOps) at Dedalus Healthcare Denmark, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, performance, and reliability of our mission-critical 24/7 production environment.
You will blend classic operational responsibilities with modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices—focusing on automation, observability, reliability, and continuous improvement to strengthen the stability and resilience of our platform.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across infrastructure, security, development, and product teams to keep our systems robust, secure, and evolving as we continue modernizing our platform.
You will:
- Ensure stable, reliable 24/7 operations for critical healthcare systems with focus on uptime, service health and proactive incident prevention.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux and Windows Server platforms.
- Work confidently with technical customer contacts—communicating clearly during incidents, planned changes, and troubleshooting to ensure alignment and trust.
- Contribute to platform modernization and help us in our continued journey towards more automated, scalable, and robust solutions.
- Maintain virtual servers, databases and a variety of platforms and technologies.
- Participate in change work – including deployments and release upgrades
- Improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational processes.
- Maintain clear operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
- Evaluate when a solution is production-ready, balancing quality, risk, and operational needs
- Support strong security practices and contribute to hardening, compliance, and secure‑by‑design principles.
- Learn new technologies and bring fresh perspectives to operational challenges.
- Stay informed on healthcare IT trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

Essential Requirements- 5+ years of relevant experience in Operations, SRE, or DevOps roles preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex system landscapes.
- Experience with Linux (e.g. RHEL) and Windows Server.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support platforms.
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization (VMware, OLVM), networking and storage
- Experience working with monitoring (e.g. checkmk), alerting, and incident handling.
- Ability to work across multiple platforms and technologies and eagerness to learn new areas.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric and safety-first mindset.
- Comfortable with customer-facing communication and able to explain technical topics clearly to customers’ technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven team player committed to continuous learning
- Fluent in Danish language.
- Work Mode – Hybrid: 3 Days in office - 2 Days from Home
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Health Informatics or related field
- Experience with Oracle Database, SQL Server or similar enterprise database platforms.
- Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic server is a plus
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Certifications in ITIL, or healthcare IT
- Fluent in English
