Are you an experienced freight forwarder with a passion for leadership and logistics excellence? European Sperm Bank is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Head of Logistics to lead our dedicated team in Copenhagen.
About the Role
As Head of Logistics, you will oversee the shipment of human sperm straws to more than 90 countries, ensuring compliance with international freight legislation and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will lead a department consisting of three Cryologistician and 4–5 student workers, balancing operational involvement with people management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the logistics team in daily operations and long-term planning
- Ensure compliance with international freight and transport regulations
- Your time will be shared between hands-on logistics tasks and team and process management
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and quality standards
- Foster a positive, proactive, and collaborative team culture
- Background as a freight forwarder or in international logistics
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of freight legislation and international shipping practices
- A “let’s do it” attitude and a natural focus on quality and precision
Fluency in Danish is required. Additionally, strong proficiency in English—both written and verbal—is essential.
