In this role you will be working closely with IT Leadership and help shape and execute the transformation roadmap for the global IT organization, ensuring that projects are structured, resourced and executed for measurable success.
The IT Project Manager partners with PMO colleagues and business stakeholders across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to enable the successful delivery of strategic initiatives through effective project execution and portfolio governance.
This is a full-time maternity cover role for roughly one year, with the exact period to be confirmed once the parental leave plan is finalized. There may be a possibility of extension depending on future needs. “We enrich land, life and people through seeds and science” DLF is a Danish-owned, global company that develops, produces and primarily sells grass seeds for agriculture, sports, leisure facilities and private customers.
We supply seeds in more than 100 countries and have employees in more than 20 countries. In the beginning of 2026, we will move headquarters from Roskilde to Smørum, right next to Kildedal Station.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals through effective scope, budget, risk and stakeholder management. Champion project and portfolio management best practices (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile), driving consistency and agility across project teams.
Partner with IT and business leadership to implement governance frameworks, conduct portfolio reviews and support long-term transformation planning Drive initiatives that improve transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across the organization, fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement This role reports to the Head of IT Project Management and is part of the Global IT organization.
Who are you? We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who can lead complex projects in a global environment and ensure strong execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment. You might recognize yourself in the following: A degree in Project Management, Business, IT, or similar 5–8 years of experience, including time in a senior or leadership role Proven track record in delivering complex IT projects in large international or matrixed environments Solid knowledge of project methodologies and change management Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels Experience with enterprise systems, cloud, or digital transformation is a plus.
