Then read about the opportunity to become our new Fundraising Manager.At Save the Children Holstebro we run a number of meaningful activities for local children and families that make a real difference.
To ensure the finances behind our efforts, we are currently looking for a committed volunteer leader who can lead our efforts.
As a leader, you can expect to spend approx.
2 hours a week at work.
The role is flexible and can be adapted to your everyday life, where tasks are primarily carried out from home.
A little about our local association and our fundraising team: Save the Children Holstebro consists of a dedicated board and committed volunteers who create safe communities for vulnerable children and families.
As a fundraising manager, you will be the primary driving force in the area and work independently with applications, strategy and financial overview.
The tasks are primarily carried out from home, but there will be a few meetings in the local association annually that you are expected to participate in.
There is not yet a fundraising team, but if you wish, you can eventually involve one more volunteer and build a small team.
However, you are not alone- you have ongoing dialogue with the person in charge and the board about funding needs, priorities and ideas, and there is always sparring and support to be obtained from the other teams.
What does the role of fundraising manager entail?
As a Fundraising Manager, you are responsible for fundraising tasks.This means having an overall overview of the planning of fundraising tasks in the local association, collaboration with the board and other teams, and responsibility for delegating tasks in collaboration with the local association's parties.
As a Fundraising Manager, you will, among other things: Coordinate the need for financing with the local association's leader/board and prioritize the necessary financing needs.Develop a fundraising strategy with the goal of securing the necessary funding for the local association's activities.
Develop an annual fundraising cycle.
Also consider opportunities for additional fundraising initiatives that can be undertaken if there is surplus for additional activities.
Prepare and send applications to relevant local funds and pools.
Create an archive of submitted applications, grant letters and rejections for future learning.
