Finance Controller

We are looking for a structured and proactive Finance Controller to join our Finance Controlling team and contribute to the continued financial transparency and performance of Nissens, a global company headquartered in Denmark.

This role provides the opportunity to work closely with both Danish and international stakeholders, contributing directly to monthly and annual reporting, consolidation, and financial governance across the Group. You will play an important part in strengthening internal controls, supporting subsidiaries, and delivering high-quality financial analyses that enable sound business decisions.

• Responsible for daily operations and ongoing development of the Group’s finance controlling function.
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting, including reconciliations and consolidation activities.
• Perform financial controlling tasks and ensure effective internal controls across the organization.
• Support compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements, including SOX.
• Collect and prepare documentation related to Transfer Pricing reporting.
• Act as a sparring partner for subsidiaries and internal stakeholders, including the Danish bookkeeping team, providing financial guidance and support.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and business cases to support management decision-making.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc tasks across the Group to drive continuous improvement and financial transparency.
• Need base travel to subsidiary companies to support financial processes, strengthen collaboration, and ensure alignment across the Group.
• Participate in additional ad-hoc assignments and cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement and financial transparency across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant higher education at HD, Master’s level, MSc in Economics and Business Administration, or a similar financial discipline.
• 2-3 years of Experience in finance or audit function within a mid to larger organization.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a solid understanding of reporting, consolidation, and controlling principles.
• Advanced IT skills, including superuser-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in written and spoken Danish & English.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.
• Structured and detail-oriented working style with respect for deadlines and quality standards.
• Independent and proactive approach to tasks, combined with the ability to take ownership of projects.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions, organizational levels, and international borders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and personal credibility in handling sensitive financial information.
