Maternity cover - Supply Chain Officer.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic “stand-in” for our current Supply chain Officer who is going on maternity leave. BackIIBasics – www.b11b.com is supplying retailers around the world with refreshing mint, gum, candy and other confectionery in private label.Reporting directly to the COO, you will work directly with our suppliers in Czech Republic and Germany, ensuring seamless supply chain processes and fostering strong partnerships through regular communication and occasional on-site visits.
Your Responsibilities:
- Procurement:
o Prepare monthly planning and forecasts.
o Analyze inventory levels and ensure timely purchasing.
o Manage and update supplier orders in Navision BC and Excel.
o Collaborate with internal teams to solve delivery issues and optimize stock.- Logistics:
o Coordinate all company shipments via sea, road, and air with logistics partners.
o Support the Supply Chain Manager in various tasks.
o Handle customs documents, warehouse procedures, and shipment tracking.
o Optimize transport costs and ensure delivery reliability.- Ad Hoc Support:
o Work on internal projects and support the Supply Chain Manager.
o Manage co-packing tasks and contribute to daily operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with a relevant theoretical background and/or practical experience.
- Proficiency in Danish and English. German is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- A collaborative, ambitious team player ready to take the initiative.
