We are looking for a dedicated Student Assistant for our dynamic in-house Marketing Communications and E-Commerce team that serves as a professional full-service agency for the global VIKING organization.
Our new colleague will take on a key role in supporting, optimizing, developing and executing our global exhibitions and events setup - and you will get the opportunity to build first-hand experience in exhibition and event handling, planning and coordination.The job itself will include a mix of administrative work and coordination of practical tasks - including packing and unpacking exhibition materials and handling merchandise stock.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist in planning, coordination and execution of global exhibitions
- Coordinate, prepare, pack and ship for global exhibitions and events
- Prepare print and digital marketing materials for events
- Administrative support for internal events
- Organize exhibition equipment
- Order merchandise and handle merchandise stock and requests
- Handle contacts to the global marketing team from our subsidiaries
- Handle webshop and requests for company clothing, business cards etc.
- Ad-hoc support for the marketing and e-commerce teams on projects and tasks
You will work approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the expectation of mutual flexibility during peak periods and exam seasons.
Student assistants play an important role within the VIKING organization. About you- You could be studying Event Management / Sport and Event Management, Marketing / Sales and Marketing / Logistics or any related field that could be a good fit.
- The right candidate for this position is characterized by being organized, detail oriented, self-driven and eager to do what it takes to organize and execute successful events that drive business success.
- You are eager to learn and approach tasks and challenges with a can-do attitude and work as a team player.
