We lead and collaboration consortia focusing on diabetic complications in the heart, kidney, eyes, nerves, and foot, associated metabolic traits (relating liver, brain, and lifestyle), and response to therapy.
We have access to Omics data profiling in multiple clinical cohorts. Our vision is to integrate these data to develop tools that support clinical decision-making and personalized medicine, while also advancing the discovery of novel disease mechanisms and drug effects.
About the Project The current project involves application of spatial proteomics and transcriptomics in deep understanding of diabetic kidney disease and related mode of action of the current standard of care. The project involves data quality control, data analyses, and interpretation, using epidemiological/data science/bioinformatics/machine learning tools.
