If so, now is your chance to join Ascendis Pharma as our new Student Assistant, Market Access & Pricing, Europe and International markets.

Ascendis Pharma is a global biopharmaceutical company committed to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Guided by our core values of Patients, Science, and Passion, we are applying our innovative TransCon® technology platform to fulfill our mission of developing new therapies that demonstrate best-in-class potential to address unmet medical needs.

At our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark, research facilities in Heidelberg, Germany, and additional offices across Europe and the United States, we are advancing programs in our Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology portfolios. We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing team. As a Student Assistant in our market access & pricing team, you will support several areas (e.g., Pricing, Health economics, Outcomes research, Health policy) within the market access function.

  • Monitor and summarize competitor activities and market trends.
  • Compile country-specific reimbursement and regulatory requirements.
  • Update internal trackers (pricing, submissions, timelines).
  • Maintain documentation for HTA submissions and pricing dossiers.
  • Support in organizing SharePoint folders and ensuring version control
  • Support in analyzing data from market access tools (e.g., IQVIA, internal databases).

Qualifications and Skills:

You are currently pursuing a relevant academic degree - preferably in the fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Economics, Health policy or something similar.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • A flair for working with data and handling administrative tasks
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A structured and detail-oriented working style

Key competencies:

You are a team player, service-minded, and have a can-do attitude.

We expect you to be curious, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about supporting others.

You are capable of working independently with minimal supervision but know when to ask for guidance.

You take initiative, are not afraid to learn from mistakes, and are reliable when it comes to meeting deadlines.

Work hours: You are expected to work approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 20 hours during peak periods. Flexibility around exam periods can be arranged with your manager.
