The duration of the education lasts two years starting from 15 January 2025. Being a Trainee at HAY As a Trainee at HAY, you become part of a team, and you are given responsibility on an equal level to your colleagues. The education is a great mix of theory and practice, whereas the practical period takes place in your department with work assignments within sales.
Depending on your area of specialization, you will get your theoretical input via the school at either Aarhus Business College, Learnmark Horsens or Business College Syd in Sønderborg, where you will meet other students. You will receive salary throughout the entire apprenticeship.

About the Sales Trainee position As a Trainee in our Internal Sales department, you will handle orders, quotes, and product and delivery inquiries.
You will be in daily contact with our wholesale/retail customers and provide support to our external sales colleagues. Your daily responsibilities will include: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Retail Sales team Manage documentation, filing, and data entry tasks related to contract sales and order processing Process and monitor orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Coordinate with internal departments to address order discrepancies and customer inquiries Support the sales team with customer communications and follow-ups Assist in preparing sales reports and maintaining up-to-date records for retail customers Serve as a point of contact for retail customers, providing prompt and professional support Handle routine customer issues, escalating complex matters to senior team members as needed Work closely with other teams such as Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure seamless customer experience Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas to enhance team performance and collaboration with external sales Are you the Internal Sales Trainee we are looking for?
What we expect As a person, you are responsible, independent and service-minded In addition, you are great at reading your surroundings and building relationships You put a virtue into completing the tasks that are given to you Experience required You have completed your EUX education or an HHX, STX or HTX exam (with a 5–10-week basic course) Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 is a great advantage Possess good English and preferable German communication skills, both written and spoken You want to be a part of HAY?
