Junior Analyst for Novo Holdings' Finance team
Novo Holdings is looking for a Junior Analyst to support both Financial Planning & Analysis and Procurement activities across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured, data-driven profile who wants broad exposure to financial analysis, procurement processes, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.
About Finance
The role is anchored in our Finance department at our headquarter in Hellerup. Here you will work closely with colleagues across Finance & Operations, supporting recurring reporting, analysis, and improvement projects.
The Finance team consists of 25 colleagues, and you will enjoy the opportunity to be part of a dedicated, international, ambitious, and connected team that is driven by values, respect and appreciation for one another. Further you will join our network of other Junior Analysts across Novo Holdings in Copenhagen.
The role is approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility around your studies, and work is expected to take place on-site.
The Role
As Junior Analyst, you will support the finance team on various matters.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and monthly/quarterly reporting
- Prepare data extracts, tables, dashboards, and first-draft variance analyses
- Perform basic data validation, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses
- Assist with data gathering and preparation of service level agreements
- Drive and maintain travel reporting
Procurement:
- Collect, clean, and analyse vendor, spend, and contract data
- Support category analysis - e.g., consolidating spend data across regions
- Support vendor and contract administration, including databases, access rights, and renewals
- Assist with market research, benchmarking, and procurement projects
- Support digitalisation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Create visual guides and standard operating procedures for internal use
Qualifications
We are ideally looking for a candidate who:
- Is on the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics or equivalent) and plan to enrol in a relevant master’s program
- Has achieved excellent academic results and is ranked within the top of the class
- Is analytically strong with an ability to see a bigger picture, while maintaining attention to detail
- Works proactively in a structured and independent manner, shows dedication and willingness to learn
- Possesses strong verbal and written skills in English
- Has experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative and international work environment
