The position The position will include teaching and exams within the following disciplines on the Bachelor’s degree programme in English, the Bachelor’s degree programme in International Business Communication in English, the Master’s degree programme in Intercultural Studies and the Bachelor’s supplementary subject in Cultural Conflict Studies.

History, Society and Culture 2 Politics and Culture for Business Engaging Conflict and Culture Migration Conflicts and Conflict-migration The number of courses and working hours will vary and will be specified each semester.
The number of hours worked must not exceed 500 (including preparation and exams) within any given academic year.
However, if necessary in order to prepare and conduct the teaching, this number can be increased to 780 hours per academic year.For each lecture or equivalent teaching hour, 2.5 hours of preparation will be added.

Qualifications Applicants for the position of part-time lecturer must be able to document a Master’s degree within history, society, or culture.Applicants must be able to document practical experience within the study of history, society, and culture and knowledge of its possible applications.Applicants for the position of part-time lecturer must also be able to document the qualifications listed below in their application.

Employment as a part-time lecturer requires that the applicant either has relevant practical experience at a high level which has not been gained through a university or academic appointment, or is currently employed in an academic position at another university as their main occupation A part-time lecturer who is employed on the basis of relevant practical experience must have in-depth knowledge of the study and possible applications of history, society, and culture.The applicant’s teaching qualifications will also be assessed.

Formal requirements Salaries and terms of employment are in accordance with the current agreement on part-time lecturers at universities, etc.
under the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
Hours per week 35 hours per week in the spring semester of 2026.
Qualifications To be employed as part-time lecturer requires qualifications at Master's degree level as well as additional high-level qualifications, e.g.
special theses, knowledge or practical experience gained through employment in the professional field related to the academic specialisation in question.
Teaching qualifications form part of the assessment basis.
