We are looking for a Student Assistant to join the Security & Compliance team at the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI).
In this role, you’ll support our efforts to keep Denmark’s AI supercomputing infrastructure secure and compliant. The Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) is a company dedicated to accelerating AI-powered research and innovation in Denmark. We own and operate Gefion, Denmark’s first AI supercomputer. We provide access to the most advanced computing capabilities, enabling customers to innovate.We work with customers from universities, startups, and large enterprises to accelerate their research and innovation with advanced computing and AI.
Your Impact
As part of the Security & Compliance team, your work will help ensure the security, privacy, and resilience of one of Denmark’s most critical digital assets. You’ll gain practical experience with compliance frameworks like NIS2, ISO 27001, and ISAE 3000, while contributing directly to internal policies, supplier evaluations, risk assessments, awareness initiatives, and reporting to management.
Your Responsibilities- Support internal risk assessments, supplier evaluations, and documentation reviews
- Assist with the implementation of compliance frameworks (e.g. NIS2, ISO 27001)
- Help maintain internal documentation and records for audits and reporting
- Support cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives
- Conduct research on evolving standards, regulations, and best practices
- Contribute to policy updates, templates, and internal controls
- To ensure a strong match, we are only considering candidates who meet all of the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (cand.merc., or cand.it., or similar) with at least one year of studies remaining
- Relevant work experience in security, compliance, risk, audit, or IT governance
- Clear interest in cybersecurity, ideally with practical experience
- Fluency in English and preferably Danish
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured working style
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a dynamic environment
- Expected availability of around 15-20 hours a week. We can be flexible around exam periods and in between semesters e.g.

For this position, we require future employees to go through and pass a background check, which includes verification of criminal records. This position is an on-site role in our office in Lyngby.
