Product Validation Engineer

We are looking for someone who will take responsibility of the validation of future exhaust aftertreatment systems (emission control systems) for diesel, hydrogen and gas engines, in close collaboration with Dinex customers and internal R&D teams.
Test Centre at Dinex
As our new Product Validation Engineer, you will join our Test Centre team, which serves as a key function at Dinex through the development of new products, technologies, and methods. We are a team of highly motivated professionals who work on defining and executing the high ambitions of Dinex – and we make sure to have fun from time to time.The job role requires on-site presence at the testing function in Middelfart, Denmark for close coordination during test programs.
Qualifications

- Educational background within chemical, mechanical or automotive engineering
- Knowledge of basics fluid mechanics and thermodynamics for basic exhaust gas calculations
- Systems-level thinking for engine & emission control system interaction
- Ability to correlate practical scenarios with theory
- Hands-on experience with data processing on Excel or/and MATLAB
- Strong analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities
- Proactiveness and willingness to make a difference with a team
- Organized and systematic mindset with ability to focus on details
- Hands-on experience with chemical reactors is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Roles & Responsibilities
You will take the role of Product Validation Engineer with the main responsibilities of:
- Aligning test and validation specifications for exhaust aftertreatment systems with internal and external customers.
- Preparing detailed test protocols and coordinating execution with engineers and technicians.
- Verifying, analyzing, and reporting emission test data.
- Supporting test planning, scheduling, and adjustments.
- Contributing to technical discussions and reviews.
- Analyzing root causes of performance and durability issues and suggesting improvements.
- Supporting development from lab testing to real driving emissions.
- Supporting in continuous improvement activities – such as 5S, automation and standardization of tests.
