Bid Manager, Defence Take the lead in shaping proposals that drive our entire Defence business forward.
In this exciting and global role, you will collaborate with specialists across multiple functions to develop winning strategies that impact the world’s most advanced defence organisations. The role: Lead winning bids from strategy to signingYou will manage end-to-end proposal efforts – from early capture planning with Sales through to contract negotiation and signing.

You will drive bid/no-bid decisions, ensure compliance with processes and guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality tenders. You will: lead and organise tenders in collaboration with Sales, Product Managers, Legal, Compliance, Finance and technical experts advise Sales and Operations on process requirements and risks review and assure the quality of tenders while engaging key decision-makers participate in negotiations with prime contractors to secure favourable terms and maximise deal value prepare pricing and profitability calculations for management approval coordinate subcontractor offers and approvals in line with compliance requirements provide feedback and implement lessons learned to continuously improve processes, templates and tools – including leveraging AI for efficiency The team: Join a global, experienced and growing Defence Sales support teamYou will join an experienced and global team of 4–5 Bid Managers based in the UK, Germany and Denmark, with plans to expand internationally over the next couple of years.

You will work out of our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, and report into the Defence Sales organisation while collaborating daily with stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East, the USA and the Asia-Pacific. You bring: Proven proposal leadership and IT industry insightTo succeed in this role, you should have some years of experience at managing complex international tenders, ideally within Defence, IT or related technical sectors.

It is essential that you thrive in a multicultural, cross-functional setting, bringing confidence to negotiations as well as a structured and organised approach to navigate in fast-moving processes. We are also looking for: superior English skills, both written and spoken a person who works independently with minimal guidance while seeking feedback to continuously improve a curious, open-minded and collaborative colleague who is eager to learn, teach and share knowledge a person who remains calm under pressure with a “yes, we can” attitude, and who is able to juggle competing priorities, provide rapid feedback and drive progress with urgency You will probably also bring: a bachelor’s degree from a sales-related domain a background in selling or delivering IT solutions, or experience from similar technical industries (for instance offshore or aviation) experience at identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years, as we work on security-classified projects.
