Group Financial Controller to Hamlet Protein We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and hands
- on Group Financial Controller to join our international Finance team.In this key role, you will be responsible for group reporting and financial consolidation across our entities in Denmark, the United States, and China.
You will play a central role in ensuring financial compliance, improving processes, and providing accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a robust framework for financial controlling across the Group.Manage and improve product consumption calculations, which are currently performed manually in Excel, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and data quality.Play an active role in the upcoming ERP system upgrade and implementation.Ensure accurate upload and integration of financial data received from our external accounting providers into Microsoft Dynamics NAV.Establish and maintain an overview of goods in transit, including inventory visibility and tracking across locations.Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Manage corporate tax-related activities (excluding VAT, which is handled elsewhere within the Finance function).Prepare audit documentation and act as a key contributor throughout the external audit process.Perform financial and accounting analyses in close collaboration with the Business Controller / Finance Business Partner.Manage transfer pricing documentation and intercompany accounting processes.Perform reconciliations and accounting of accruals, prepaid expenses, intercompany balances, and other balance sheet accounts.QualificationsMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance, controlling, or accounting role.Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, accounting principles, and internal controls.Experience working with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.Advanced Excel skills and a keen interest in process optimization and automation.Experience with transfer pricing and intercompany transactions is preferred.Personal ProfileYou are detail-oriented and highly accurate in your work.
