Manager, Group Accounting and Reporting

We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.
We are seeking a passionate finance professional to become part of our Group Accounting & Reporting team. As a member of the Global Finance team, you will play a crucial role in taking our Group Accounting & Reporting team to the next level and moving us ahead in our global “Finance Winning Aspiration.” This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results, and support our Vision 2030.
You will join the Group Accounting & Reporting team consisting of 5 members, and report directly to Nis Pedersen, Senior Finance Director Group Accounting & Reporting. You will be based in Hellerup.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for development and maintenance of our SOX Framework, including scoping, entity level controls, risk management, and control design
- Responsible for control testing and control test reporting
- Responsible for control performance and monitoring controls
- Liaison with our IT team on SOX IT general controls
- Participate in maintaining and developing our Process Framework
- Liaison with Finance teams on operational finance controls
- Participate in group controlling activities and regulatory filings, including filings to the SEC
- Participate in group accounting and reporting projects, including automation and use of AI
Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degree, preferably cand.merc.aud or similar international degree. Moreover, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the audit and/or accounting field.
Furthermore, you have:
- A forward-looking and mindful approach
- Efficient problem-solving skills looking to find practical answers to complex issues
- Experience in working with SOX compliance under SEC / PCAOB requirements
- Experience with establishing finance processes, perform risk assessment and control design
- Experience with IFRS accounting standards
- Experience with integrated systems and tools, such as Impero, D365, IBM Planning/Analytics “Cognos” and Power Bi
- Experience in working with(in) a global group with several foreign entities and accounting frameworks
- The ability to navigate cross-functional tasks and projects within Finance and interact with other departments
