On-site Solution Architect, Defence Services Step into this high-impact, global, customer-facing role where no two days are the same.You will travel extensively to support mission-critical systems and play a direct role in the success of mission-critical software deployments. About the roleAs an On-site Solution Architect, you will play a key role in delivering and rolling out our SitaWare product suite across Defence organisations worldwide.
You will work closely with project managers, product development teams and customers – translating operational needs into robust software solutions, leading architectural decisions and overseeing technical delivery. This is a highly collaborative and globally oriented role with extensive travel, placing you at the centre of mission-critical roll-outs and customer engagement.
Your key responsibilities and daily impact: Lead architect and the design of specific technical solutions with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams Responsible for writing the technical part of proposals and estimating the technical solutions Provide solution architecture presales support to drive customer value and support sales activities Provide hands-on support on the installation of software products within customers’ organisations Advise customers on best practices for deploying and using our products effectively The team you will be joiningYou will be part of our Defence Services organisation, which ensures that users of the SitaWare Suite receive the best possible support to maximise the value of our products across more than 50 countries.
You will join our dynamic and growing Defence Services team in Copenhagen, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager for the Nordic constellation. You will be based at our office in the heart of Copenhagen, but after your onboarding period, you can expect extensive business travel while collaborating closely with project teams, colleagues, Defence customers and stakeholders across our global constellations.Your skills and experienceYou bring several years of experience as a Solution Architect, and hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field. You combine strong technical capabilities with leadership skills, and know how to guide, influence and motivate stakeholders across complex organisations.
We are also looking for: solid experience in customer-facing roles, and you excel at building trust strong communication skills; you communicate clearly and confidently in English, and ideally you are also comfortable in Danish as well expertise in areas such as tactical communications, software development, IT infrastructure, system testing (e.g. ISTQB) and/or technical training a flexible mindset, and you are comfortable with extensive international travel experience with the classic architectural skills, and you are proficient in Java, Angular and TypeScript; experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
